Limited space and a long client wish list posed a challenge for this swimming pool landscape design. The clients wanted a full service cabana with adjoining pool, while still leaving enough usable lawn space for family activities.

Liquid met the challenge by working closely with township officials to create a solution that would accommodate setback restrictions by connecting the cabana to the existing house. The pool shape was then smartly designed to fit together with the new cabana footprint while still leaving enough room for a generous lawn area.

This overall site plan permits circulation to and from the other elements of the yard. To further maximize usable space, the pool deck was eliminated to allow for more lawn space, and a sun shelf was added within the pool to provide for sun bathing.

Because the end result of Liquid custom swimming pool designs , custom water garden designs and water feature designs appear to be so natural to the site, we are often asked, "What did you do?". While most water professional swimming pool landscape design companies would not appreciate that question, it is exactly the reaction we are looking for, and this project is a perfect example. We have been conditioned to think that a successful design should be recognizable, but it is the complete opposite. Despite all limitations posed by the site and by use, good design should blend into the surroundings in a quiet and unrecognized manner.
