The active New Jersey family who commissioned this custom swimming pool design wanted a formal pool that would compliment the style of their formal Williamsburg style reproduction. Despite the formal nature of the architecture, sporting water activities such as volleyball and basketball were a priority over swimming.

The Liquid solution was to a slightly smaller pool resting on the center axis of the house, creating a water feature design more akin to a formal reflection pool than a modern day swimming pool.

For the benefit of sporting activities, the depth inside the pool is no more that five feet at the center.
